End-of-day trailing drawdown
How it works
An end-of-day trailing floor follows your highest CLOSING balance, minus the max drawdown. It ratchets up only when you close a day at a new high — intraday dips during the day never move it. You can be underwater at 11am and fine by the close, as long as your balance never touches the floor.
The classic mistake
Forgetting the floor moved up after a green day. Bank a strong close and your breach level rises with it — the room you had last week is not the room you have today. Re-read your floor at the start of every session.
